This privacy policy explains how our Shopify app collect, use, and share personal data from merchants and customers in connection with installing and using the app.

1. Data We Collect

Our app processes search queries entered by customers in your store's search bar to help you identify missing products ("search gaps"). We collect:

• Storefront search queries (e.g. search terms, search timestamp, and search results count).
• Shop data (Shopify store domain name, and access token required to perform redirect and synonym actions on your behalf).

2. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain raw storefront search events based on your active plan tier: Free (7 days), Starter (30 days), Growth (90 days), and Pro (365 days). Expired data is automatically purged by our retention cleanup service. Daily aggregated totals are stored indefinitely for your dashboard trends. All data can be deleted upon request.

3. Compliance & GDPR

We fully comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR privacy guidelines. When a merchant uninstalls the app or a customer requests data deletion via Shopify, we erase all associated data from our servers within the required timeframe.
